The Hok Barn had considerable foundation damage due to run off from Little Pond Rd. in Concord, NH. As roads are re-paved many times they can cause considerable run-off problems for structures taht become lower than the road as it gains elevation with the paving. We re-built the stone foundations where we could be assured of setting the foundation on a solid well drained base. On the front of the barn due to the elevation concerns we re-placed the stone foundation with concrete, and added the stone ramp to facilitate moving the run-off away from the barn. This barn was built around 1870 and housed a sizable dairy operation.
